Simonetta Capecchi

Simonetta Capecchi is an illustrator based in Naples who specializes in illustrated maps, drawings, and sketched reportages. In 2008, she co-founded Urban Sketchers, a global community that promotes on-location drawing and emphasizes its narrative, educational, and artistic value. Since 2015, she has been creating a monthly, illustrated column in the Italian travel magazine "Dove". Capecchi also collaborates with the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, where she created a new illustrated map of the Pompeii archaeological excavations.
