Filippo Maggia

Filippo Maggia (Biella, 1960) is a historian of photography and has worked as a curator in many institutions, including the Galleria Civica di Modena (1993-2005), Fondazione Sella (2002-2006), Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa (2006-2008) and since 1998 the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin. He was photography editor for BaldiniCastoldiDalai (1998-2004) and Skira (2006-2020) and editorial director of Nepente Editore (2004-2006). He contributes to Radio 3 RAI and "Il Sole 24 Ore". Since the early nineties he has curated over 130 solo and group exhibitions. Since 2019 he has been Head of Projects of the Basilico Archive.
