The book presents a selection of drawings, made over the years by Ico Migliore both in the design phase and in his everyday life, divided into three main categories: sketches, maps and scenarios. Three different typologies reconstructing the process that brings ideas from the conceptual sphere to the concreteness of graphic representation on paper, the place where they finally take shape. Ico designs his projects as places to be traversed, understood and known. Designs of environments that do not provide shelter or protection and do not mark clear divisions between interior and exterior. In the construction of these architectures, the project is generated and evolves around the themes and subjects to be communicated through a process of addition and layering of different elements, material and immaterial.
