Works, trends, protagonists] The book’s aim is to offer an overview of one century of sculptural production in Italy, presenting a collection of well-illustrated essays, each examining a particular period, stylistic current or individual artist. Specific contributions are devoted to movements such as Eclecticism and Novecentismo, as well as postwar trends. Individual artists discussed include Medardo Rosso, Leonardo Bistolfi, Umberto Boccioni, Arturo Martini, Marino Marini, Giacomo Manzù, Lucio Fontana, Fausto Melotti.
