In addition to Leonardo’s machines the exhibition includes a series of studies, notes and drawings on astronomy, optics and on the theory of light and shade, reflections and extremely detailed calculations that Leonardo, in the last years of his life, used to develop a major project for the exploitation of solar energy for industrial purposes.
