This superb classic is now available in a limited, numbered print run in a luxury edition designed to enhance the artist’s magnificent illustrations.
Alberto Longoni has left us an elegant, yet searing and ironic graphic interpretation of the characters in this well-known children’s tale. His line drawings are fully reproduced in this edition in double page spreads. The volume includes a pullout poster with the splendid scene of Pinocchio being swallowed by the whale.
The book contains the complete text present in the 10th edition version collated with the first original edition by the author, while the preface is by Dino Buzzati.
