Inga Sempé. La casa imperfetta / The imperfect home

This volume, published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name at Triennale Milano (15 April – 15 September 2024), documents over three decades of the work by the French designer Inga Sempé, with essays, interviews, photographs, prototypes, drawings and previously unpublished materials.

Starting from the observation of everyday life, her design practice unites a creative idea that is committed to pushing against the constraints of production and enabling the development of new forms and functions against all forms of habit and laziness.

The catalogue is completed by a list of Sempé’s main projects, accompanied by critical entries and a wealth of illustrations.

Texts and contributions by: Giampiero Bosoni, Megan Dinius de Kalbermatten, Laura Maggi, Massimo Orsini, Eugenio Perazza, Marco Sammicheli, Inga Sempé, Patrizia Vicenzi, Pilar Viladas.
