Imago Imperii. La Domus Tiberiana

After fifty years of studies and restoration work, the Domus Tiberiana has reopened to the public. The dynastic palace erected in the Julio-Claudian age on the northwest slope of the Palatine Hill, above the Roman Forum, after being enlarged by Domitian and Hadrian, continued to be the hub of imperial power until Late Antiquity, and then hosted a new court in the Farnese age.

The new permanent exhibition Imago Imperii recounts life in the building through the discoveries and with the support of modern technologies.
