This book is an anthology of the architecture and interior design produced by the Parisotto and Formenton partnership, illustrated by drawings, top quality photographs, explanatory essays and interviews with the partners themselves. Parisotto and Formenton was founded in 1990 in Padua. Initially they produced a series of projects for interior design and exhibitions and then gradually moved on to larger projects embracing restoration work and new buildings. The partnership now has ongoing contracts with leading companies for the construction of retail outlets, shops and showrooms. In 2003 they opened a branch in Milan and started working on commissions abroad, becoming involved in different stages of various projects, from conception to construction. The book includes two critical essays and a conversation with the two architects, who comment on the themes illustrated and interpret their work; a valuable corollary to the detailed descriptions of the works divided into four sections: large buildings, exhibitions and commercial buildings, private houses and work still in progress. Illustrative drawings help understand each project, as do the superb photographs by Paolo Utimpergher that highlight the quality of the work, from the overall conception down to the last detail.
