A new reading of Sottsass's artistic and intellectual work as he turns 90. A way of approach his output through the involvement of his emotional and intellectual life, one which lays more importance on the "search for an object" than the object itself.
The exhibition and catalogue explore the artistic research of Ettore Sottsass, extrapolating an essential collection of works divided into 7 thematic areas: industrial design, architecture, photography, jewelry, utopia/drawing, ceramics and finally glass, the so-called delicatessens, as Gillo Dorfles termed them. The visitor or reader is left free to develop a wholly personal vision of the exhibits in this guided tour accompanied by the artist, who seems to lead him by the hand and tell him a story.
