[Unknown Brera. Giovanni Spanzotti. A polyptych reconstructed]. This book investigates the history of the work painted by Martino Spanzotti for the church of San Francesco at Casale Monferrato, and through it the art of the Renaissance in Piedmont. Painted in the early 1500s, the work is of fundamental historical and artistic importance. For the first time in the spaces of the Pinacoteca the various panels of the composition have been reunited, after being scattered amongst Brera, a private Milanese collection, the Accademia Albertina of Turin and the National Gallery of London.
