This year the fifth centenary of the death of Andrea Mantenga is celebrated. The exhibit at Castel San Giorgio is dedicated to his masterpiece the Camera degli Sposi.
In the occasion of the celebrations for the fifth centenary of the death of Andrea Mantegna, the Soprintendenza for the public historical, artistic and ethnoantropologic property of Mantua will open to the public an exhibit dedicated to the Camera degli Sposi at the noble floor of the Castle of San Giorgio
Through important foreign loans will be told not only the portraited characters but also the passion of the Gonzaga for the ancient texts, through an impressive group of codex.
