The Archaeological Park of the Colosseum has a new website: it’s beautiful, immersive and intuitive.
Find the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum’s brand new website at parcocolosseo.it/en. Created in collaboration with Electa, the site is not just here to tell the story of the heritage of the world’s most famous Archaeological Park, but is also a valuable source of information about the Park’s activities, exhibitions, encounters and events. The new site is designed as an immersive and intuitive space. Access is mainly by images that immediately involve users, who can then choose from the different themed tours to suit their needs and interests. The history of the monuments and the different areas that define the Park (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Domus Aurea, Arch of Constantine and Meta Sudans) each has a section of its own, enriched by photo galleries, videos and suggestions for itineraries. For those who want deeper insights there is the Mirabilia section, which features less well-known monuments and places. In each section, users can find the essential information for a visit: how to get here, details of tickets and opening times, accessibility services and guided tours. The website devotes ample space to exhibitions, events and initiatives that enrich the Park's range of offerings, also spread by the newsletter and social media.
