Colorando il Colosseo

A colouring book to discover the Colosseum Archaeological Park. With brief captions recounting its history, the book presents an itinerary to explore and colour the buildings and the characters associated with it in the days of Ancient Rome.

The Colosseum with the gladiators and the animals involved in the venationes (or animal hunts), the Domus Aurea with its unmistakable grotesques, the Arches of Titus and Constantine with the bas-reliefs of the emperors’ exploits, are just some of the subjects illustrated, encouraging young visitors to explore and understand the spectacular remains of Roman splendour.
