The itineraries through art and archive photography documented in this volume were created from the exhibitions for the European Photography Festivals by the Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione – whose Photography Section, born under the aegis of Arturo Carlo Quintavalle and a group of students and art historians, conserves the largest public collection of original photographic images in the country.
