With the masterpieces of the 17th and 18th century from Emilia Romagna, Genoa, Lombardy, Piedmont, Sicily, Venice, alongside Flemish, Spanish, German and French painters from the Bourbon and post-unification collections, the collaboration in study and publication of the collections of the Capodimonte Museum, which began with the books dedicated to the Bourbons and the Farnese families to the ceramics and paintings by Neapolitan masters. Domenichino, Giovanni Lanfranco, Guido Reni, Artemisia Gentileschi, Giovanni Paolo Panini, Pietro Novelli, Francesco Guardi, Anton Van Dyck, Matthias Stomer, Simon Vouet are only some of the artists featured in this long and spectacular season dedicated to Italian and European art, which enriches the heritage of the Capodimonte Museum.
