A volume from the "Made in Italy" series, dedicated to a label characterised by an ironic and rather burlesque spirit, that always stays outside the limits and trends of the world of fashion.

Dedicated to the protagonists of Italian creativity in the world of fashion, the “Made in Italy” series, of which this volume is part, aims to enter the world and the creative logic of each designer, analysing the different ways of conceiving elegance and of living with a true “lifestyle”.
The Etro label came into existence between the Sixties and Seventies, when the fashion scene was dominated by a multiethnic spirit, evocative of the great journeys to the East. It produced textiles that were recognised and appreciated by all the great designers and interior designers, and set a stamp on them that was to make the label famous: the cashmere design. The company then transformed itself, choosing a creative formula that matched its ironic and rather burlesque spirit, always staying outside the limits and trends of the world of fashion.
