A major solo exhibition devoted to one of the most successful Italian artists on the international scene. A catalogue filled with images documents Carla Accardi’s artistic career and her innovations in contemporary art. Following her many group and solo exhibitions and the numerous national and international prizes she has won, this is the first ever exhibition devoted entirely to Carla Accardi’s work in a Rome museum. The accent is on her research into form and colour, the medium and the sign: from the Sicofoils of the 1970s to the Labyrinth-cum-Home, from the ceramic cones to the latest monochromes.
