This is the first Italian monograph on the work of the Austrian architect Heinz Tesar. The book accompanies the exhibition that the Architekturmuseum of the Technischen Universität in Munich devoted to him in September.
This volume documents Heinz Tesar’s architectural oeuvre. After completing his training at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna, where he has his office, Tesar has developed his projects with the aid of very personal linguistic and iconic metaphors. The most outstanding works presented in this volume include the Schömer administrative building at Klosterneuburg (1985-1987), the theatre and the Celtic Museum in Hallein (1991-1994), and the Evangelical church in Klosterneuburg (1993-1995). The book is amply illustrated with photographs by Christian Richters.
