The works of François Pinault’s prestigious contemporary art collection which are being exhibited simultaneously at Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi. The catalogue of the inaugural exhibition, organized by Alison Gingeras and Francesco Bonami, which will involve both the Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi. The works are presented in a way that is in harmony with the characteristics and atmosphere of each venue: a more intimate, private view on the one hand, and a more outward-looking world view on the other. Together, the two parts of the exhibition create a dialogue between artists of different generations, offering highly diverse forms of expression and sensitivity. Classic names like Penone, Cattelan and Hirst are exhibited side by side with young talent such as Urs Fischer, Piotr Uklanski and Rudolf Stingel, who are introduced in articles by Bonami and Gingeras.
